One of the things I love most about living and working in Solterra is that every listing has a story.
Recently, I had the opportunity to take over another expired listing here in the neighborhood—15388 W. Evans Avenue. Interestingly, this wasn’t the first time I’ve represented this home. Having previously listed the property, I already knew the Infinity Avanti Plan 3 inside and out, which allowed our team to immediately focus on what really matters: exposing the home to as many qualified buyers as possible.
Rather than simply putting the home back on the MLS and hoping for the best, we went to work.
One of the first things we did was reach out to the top 25 Realtors by sales volume in the 80228 ZIP code. Since Solterra is in that ZIP code, our goal was simple: identify agents who consistently work with buyers in our neighborhood and make sure they knew about this exceptional home before it officially hit the market.
While putting that list together, something unexpected happened.
To my surprise, I realized I currently ranked #1 in total sales volume and transaction sides in the 80228 ZIP code for the year.
I’ll be honest—that wasn’t something I was chasing or even aware of.
Instead, it became a moment of reflection.
That ranking isn’t about me.
It’s the direct result of incredible clients who continue to place their trust in me. Every buyer who chooses me to help them find a home. Every seller who trusts my advice on pricing, marketing, negotiations, and preparing their home for today’s market. I’m genuinely grateful for every one of those relationships.
As both a Solterra homeowner and a Realtor who has specialized in this neighborhood since it was first built, I care deeply about protecting and enhancing the reputation of our community. Every listing I represent isn’t just another transaction—it’s a reflection of the neighborhood I call home.
Because I live here, I’m invested in far more than simply putting a sign in the yard.
I’m constantly watching market trends, studying buyer behavior, networking with agents who actively sell in Solterra, writing neighborhood-specific content, and looking for new ways to generate exposure that benefits my clients.
When a home doesn’t sell the first time, it doesn’t necessarily mean there’s something wrong with the property.
Sometimes it simply needs a fresh perspective, updated positioning, improved marketing, or an agent who understands exactly how buyers view Solterra compared to the rest of Lakewood.
Every home deserves that opportunity.
