I thought I would share some Active Listing Stats going back the last 3 years in September. We have more Inventory on the market now then the last 2 years as you can see from this graph. Another key point this time of year is that we will see a decrease in Inventory during our “colder months”. Most sellers will remove their listing if it is not getting any showings or offers. The Holidays are right around the corner and we usually don’t have as much demand during this period. As a seller you don’t have as much competition during the colder months and the buyers that are shopping are typically really motivated to buy. If you don’t want to list this fall consider listing right after the New Year. We usually see a Spike in showings the first couple of weeks of January. I would be happy to discuss in more detail.
