I thought I would share some positive news about the housing market. After coming off a cold, slow winter in 2022, things are starting to look promising. January was booming with activity in the market and throughout the spring, all my listings are either selling at asking price and in some instances, we received multiple offers, and the sellers are getting above asking price. This market is reminiscent of 2021 and in looking that the showing report, a report that has data pertaining to showings throughout the Denver area, the weekly average is the same as 2021. Compared to last year where the showings were well below the 2021 average. Having said that, currently we are way below the number of new listings in comparison to both 2022 and 2021. The good news, increasing buyer demand and low inventory, makes it a wonderful time to be a seller!
